Fly out to Kathmandu and upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet our representative and proceed to hotel for check in. After check in take some rest and explore some of the local markets of Kathmandu city. Night stay will be at 3-star equivalent Hotel on twin\triple sharing basis.

Today post breakfast we will visit the Holy Pashupatinath Temple, which is one of the most important holy sites for Shiva Devotees. This temple is also one the oldest structures in Nepal.

After Pashupatinath temple, visit Budhanikanth Temple, the temple of Lord Vishnu. The statue of Lord Vishnu in sleeping position on the cosmic serpent Shesha.

Return to hotel and have lunch. Evening time is for leisure.  Overnight stay at Hotel.

Optional Tour: Mountain Flight is available in the morning. This flight flies over The World’s Highest Peak, The Himalayas. The flight departs at 0630 hrs. So, whomsoever wishes to book this amazing flight has to be ready at 0530 hrs. latest and our representative will transfer you to the domestic Airport.

Just after breakfast get ready to proceed to Dhunche or Shyabru Besi which are Nepal border town near Rasuwagadhi border. On arrival check in to hotel at Dhunche / Shymbru Besi. Take some rest and evening time is at leisure. Have your dinner and go to bed as we’ll have to leave early to Rasuwagadhi for immigration formalities. 

Today, is the day of the beginning of the Holy Mansarovar Yatra. Have breakfast drive and reach the Nepalese border Rasuwagadhi which is 15 kms from Shyabru Besi. Upon reaching you’ll have to complete the immigration formalities and then cross the border of China and proceed to Kerung. You’ll be accompanied by the Nepalese Sherpas throughout the trip. Arrive at Kerung, check in at hotel and take some rest. You can also explore the local market. At night dinner will be served.

In order to adapt to the environment also the weather condition you’ll be undertaking the acclimatization process. We’ll arrange a short hike for you. You can also opt to spend the day in the hotel.

Just after breakfast proceed towards New Dongba. On the way you’ll see the beautiful Paiku Lake. You can spend some time there and after that leave for New Donga. You’ll pass through a beautiful place called Saga. There you be able to see the Tibetan plains. On further drive you’ll reach New Dongba. Overnight stay at hotel.

Today, after taking a light breakfast start your journey to the sacred Lake Mansarovar. There will be a halt near Mayumla Pass in order to complete permit formalities. Continue your drive through Mayumla Pass and Paryang County. From the shore of Lake Mansarovar, you’ll have the first view of the Holy Mount Kailash. After some permit formalities you’ll be driven towards Chiu Gompa (the decision of whether you’ll be travelling in our vehicles or local buses shall completely depend upon the permission of the local authorities). Major part of the Mansarovar Parikrama will be completed today and remaining shall be done by you. Witness the mesmerizing views of this sacred Mansarovar Lake and Mount Kailash. Chiu Gompa Monastery is also a point of interest.

Wake up and we’ll take a holy dip in the Mansarovar Lake. After the holy dip and puja, have lunch and drive to Darchen. On the way witness the Lake of Devil Rakshastal which is situated on the other side of Mansarovar Lake.

You will start your Mount Kailash Parikrama from Darchen. Now check in to hotel. Rest of the time is at leisure. You can explore and do shopping in Darchen’s local markets or take rest in your room.

Optional trip: On special request, we can arrange an Ashtapad excursion trip for our clients in which they shall be trekking right from Darchen and reaching Ashtapad, then returning back in case there is no transport facility permitted by the local authorities of China. Thus, this trip is based directly on the permissions from local authorities and direct payment to the Tibetan guides.

After breakfast head to Yam Dwar/ Tarboche/ Sersong, which is a must try drive. Yam dwar is called Tarboche by the Tibetans. They believe that the circumambulation for Mount Kailash should start from Yam Dwar. There will be an optional trek of Yama Dwar. Those who are interested can proceed for the Trek or else you can take rest in your room at Darchen till others return. Yak or Horse can be hired for the trek. The trek would take around 5-6 hours till you reach Dirakpur. After the trek check in to hotel and have dinner.

Wake up early morning to witness the mesmerizing view of Mount Kailash as the first sunlight rays fall on the mount. After that have breakfast and prepare for the trek to reach Zuthulphuk camp. Today’s trek will be the toughest as it will be steep way most of the time. This trek will take approximately 10-12 hours. On the way at Dolma La, we’ll visit Shivasthal. It is believed that whatever personal things are left here are attained back after death. On the way Gauri Kund will be there, you can spend some time there and after that have lunch. 

Note: It is mandatory to carry packed food along with Hot water. The path will be very bumpy so walk very carefully.

Reach Zuthulphuk and check in to room. Take some rest and have dinner.

Today will be the last day of the trek. Through a small trek reach Darchen. On reaching Darchen drive to hotel and meet your fellow travelers and have lunch. After that drive to Dongba and complete the remaining Parikrama of Lake Mansarovar.

Drive to Kerung after breakfast. On the way you’ll see Brahmaputra River. Also enjoy the scenic views of Pieku-Tso Lake.  Now you’ll arrive in Kerung and check in to Hotel and have dinner.

Just after breakfast start your journey towards Rasuwagadhi (China-Nepal Border).  Upon reaching the border you’ll have to complete the Re-entry formalities there and from there you will be taken to Hotel at Kathmandu.  Overnight stay and dinner.

Note: The journey from Rasuwagadhi will take around 8-9 hours.

Today after breakfast we will drop you to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. From there you will board your flight.with lots of sweet memories.A journey of a Lifetime.
