Time to Restart Tourism! India slowly starts traveling again, initially, we want to be Cautions. Uttarakhand Govt. issued some guidelines for hotels, homestay, religious places from 8th June 2020
According to guidelines, chief secretary Utpal Kumar Singh updated that hotels, homestays, & religious places are prohibited for the visitors who are from high load COVID-19 cities and regarding Low COVID-19 cities will have to stay for minimum 7 days & Travellers enjoy the beauty of nature from hotel premise. This is because if a person is carrying some infection, there is a chance of manifestation within 7 days. The hotelier can take care and need to take written undertake in this regard and mainly all the details of the person who check in the hotels with specifying date & time
Regarding Chardham Yatra, Dewasthanam Board consults with district administration and other stakeholders to open Chardham Yatra but with safety & some necessary restrictions in some places.
However, the tourist spot religious places will be open for the locals, but pilgrims from other states shall not be allowed until further notice.
