Mount Abu It Is

3 days, just 3 days, can they have even a little change in your life?
Well if these 3 days are invested in travelling then it’s definitely a YES.
6 am in the morning DAD woke us up all ready to go for an outing and at 8 am we were yet wondering what was happening till we heard words from Dad “Mount Abu It Is”… and yes in our car four of us were off for the trip to MOUNT ABU!!! I thank god many times till this very moment that my Camera was fully charged.

Mount Abu famous hill station on the rajasthan border…yes that was all I knew about Mount abu…But while our journey towards this magnificent hill station through the ghats I was sure though our trip was a quick trip it is going to leave one of the deepest imprints of memories on our hearts…

The Roads through mountains towards Mount abu were already making us forget our small worries in this huge world and we were already coming closer not only to the nature but ourselves…that’s all about travelling right we discover some new places, meet new people but most importantly we acknowledge  a new version of ourselves.

I still can’t forget the contentment of our cravings by Dal bati Churma…the taste is still unexplainable but whenever I hear someone talking about Mount Abu the first clip that gets played before my eyes is  Me  and my family having Dal bati churma in its most authentic way in the freezing cold weather of Mount Abu.

No love is more true and pure than the love for food and this hill station at that night already won hearts of four of us by offering us Dal bati Churma.

Yes in that chill weather we were less prepared with our warm clothes…but as soon as we received the warm blankets I couldn’t wait to sleep and get lost in the literally cool dreams about the next day…

As, Cool Weather+ Warm Blankets= most powerful meditation called sleep.

Next day in the morning I took some selfies because it is a morning ritual to be followed in each trip.

And why not, as photographs are only left behind as supporters of our memories…

But was Mount Abu just about to provide me some scenic views for taking photographs?

Hmm No…it was about to go beyond that…

Guru Shikhar the Highest point in Aravalli Ranges was the first spot we visited and it was an evidence of Natural Beauty…Guru Shikhar is the place of impressive paranomic view for every nature lover.

After Guru Shikhar it was time for shopping of some Rajasthani artifacts and the market was full of widest variety of the same.

Music Lovers Attention!!! There’s a series of paintings available which is called as SA RE GA MA painting series which are worth buying…Market is full of oxidized mirror jewelry, wide range of meaningful paintings’ series (perfect for any urban home décor by the way), interesting and valuable gift items, accessories and what not…and that too AT reasonable prices…and sellers here are open to bargaining which adds a thumb up to the idea of shopping here.

Post Lunch, in Brahma Kumari World Spiritual University and the peace garden we were introduced to the never thought about wide variety of flora and fauna…and I can guarantee every person visiting this garden will be lost in the mesmerizing different kinds of flowers which even includes a type of rose that is sized equaled to total size of two hands of an adult.

The big ‘OM’ is the central point of the garden – come on was this even to be skipped without taking photographs? Absolutely No.

The big swan shaped rath and other such points enhance the attractiveness of this garden.

One will not be able to afford to miss out Nakki Lake while on trip to Mount Abu.

Nakki Jheel (lake) which is named on the basis of the word Nakh (nails) is surrounded with many trees mountains and huge rocks, and is the prominent water source in Mount Abu.

Boating in Nakki Lake, Yes, like you all,  I also heard about it a lot and found the reason of hearing so  much about it after experiencing it…Boating In Nakki is a must do in Mount Abu…

Ok when you are in other state than yours own why not have a touch of the state culture by wearing the traditional outfits of that state and shall I have to mention by now? of course taking pictures in them…

Near Nakki Jheel there are a lot of shops which provide traditional outfits for both men and women and also they capture us in this wholly different looks…I still remember how the tourists clicked pictures with us when we were in those costumes…I know a little embarrassing but it was more of fun.

Also the market nearby offers varied wooden handicrafts and home décor items which are worth buying as the artists of these handicrafts are really quick in their services and also they offer customization in the handicrafts we want to buy.
Yes Lots of Shopping done, new unforgettable moments gathered and there the sun rests…
Sunset point - are words even enough to explain what we feel when we watch sunset?

I think no…they are not…Sunset point where sun seems like after having a hectic day it is sleeping in the mountain range giving us a reminder that it will bring with a new day, new opportunities for us to change our lives by filling several colors in our lives was the golden feather in the hat.

At Night there was a mouth watering food variety for Non-Veg Lovers as well as Veg Lovers…

After having heavy dinner we slept to wake up with refreshment given by this trip…

With the amazingly tasting Chhole Bhature I left Mount Abu with tons of memories  with my family…

In the return journey I thought what this short trip actually gave me

Did it provide me with a new Social media profile picture?

Or a collection of items that me and my family shopped there?

Actually neither of the two, the biggest thing it gave me was the reason to go for a trip there again…
